Linen in Indian climate conditions
India's climate varies more dramatically than most countries. Linen performs differently across these contexts. In humid coastal climates (Goa, Kerala, Mumbai), linen absorbs moisture and dries quickly — the ideal property. In dry heat (Rajasthan, Delhi summer), linen is breathable but provides minimal sun protection in thin weaves; choose a slightly heavier linen for direct sun days.
