A kaftan that falls to the ankle at a size 8 is graded to fall to the ankle at a size 22 as well — not to the thigh because the pattern was scaled uniformly. This distinction matters more in resort wear than almost any other category because the silhouette and proportion of the garment is the outfit; there are no other structural elements to compensate.

Fabrics and Design

First Resort is known for its bold prints — large-scale florals, tropical motifs, geometric patterns, and richly saturated colours.
