First Resort is the resort wear label of fashion designer Ramola Bachchan, and this is where it is made: a designer clothing boutique and studio on the ground floor at 23 Hauz Khas Village in New Delhi. You can walk in any day from Monday to Saturday, 10am to 6pm, with no appointment.

Finding us in the village

Hauz Khas Village is a network of narrow lanes, and map pins can land a few doors out. Look for the black First Resort by Ramola Bachchan sign: we are on the ground floor at No. 23. If you get turned around, WhatsApp us and we will guide you in.

What happens when you visit

There are two ways to leave with something, and you can do both:

• Take it with you. If a piece on the rail is in your size, it can go home with you the same day.
• Have it made. Choose any style from the collection (kaftans, or caftans as many travellers call them, tunics, co-ord sets, dresses and kurtas) and we will make it in your size, from XS to 8XL at the same price. We can also make it to your measurements, which we take in the studio, at no extra charge. Then we ship it to you.

Alteration and size exchange are free on every order, so if something needs adjusting once you are home, message us and we will put it right.

Getting it home

• Dispatch: within 24 hours if your size is ready; otherwise allow 3–6 days for tailoring and a quality check. For pieces made to your measurements, we confirm the turnaround when you order, because it varies by style.
• Delivery: typically 4–6 days internationally, at a flat ₹1,500 per order. Within India, shipping is free, and same day within Delhi NCR.
• Duties and VAT: outside India, these are charged by your country's customs on delivery.
