Bangalore Fashion Week October 2026: Dates, How to Get In, and the After Parties

Bangalore Fashion Week returns for its 27th edition from 15 to 18 October 2026 at The Oterra on Hosur Road. It runs on exactly the same four days as Lakmé Fashion Week in Delhi — and unlike Lakmé, it has a guest list that anyone can ask to join. If you have ever wanted to sit at an Indian fashion week and assumed it was impossible, this is the one to try.

Lakmé Fashion Week, the same four days, in Delhi
Two Indian fashion weeks, the same four days, 2,000 km apart. Lakmé Fashion Week X FDCI runs 15–18 October in New Delhi; Bangalore Fashion Week runs 15–18 October at The Oterra. If you were choosing between them purely on whether you can get in, Bangalore is the answerable one.

Can you attend?

Yes — and this is genuinely unusual, so it is worth being precise about how it works.

Bangalore Fashion Week operates a guest list you can request a place on. You submit your details, a guest-listing team reviews the request, and if approved the invite arrives a few days before the event. There is no public ticket counter and no guarantee, but there is a door, and it is one you can knock on yourself.

That is the opposite of how most Indian fashion weeks work. At Lakmé, access is invitation and accreditation only, with no route for a member of the public at all.

A request is not a ticket. Every route on this page is reviewed by the organisers and can be declined, and none of them publishes a deadline — so the sensible move is to ask early rather than assume a late request will be processed.

Every way in, and who each one is for

Participation here is not one door. The organisers run parallel routes for different people, and at the time of checking all of them were accepting submissions.

The guest list, in practice

The form asks for your affiliation or company, name, designation and contact details. That framing tells you what the list is for: it is an industry and invited-audience list rather than a general public ballot. You do not have to work in fashion to ask, but the request is read by a person, so giving them a reason is sensible.

The Influencer Club

If you make fashion or lifestyle content, this is the more direct route. The organisers review profiles and, on approval, include you with full access to the show. One hard requirement stated on the page: your Instagram must be public. A private account cannot be assessed and will not be.

Press

If you write for a publication, media accreditation is requested through the press form and handled by the PR team.

Exhibiting

Brands can take space in the Experience Zone, which is pitched at buyers, media and luxury consumers rather than at the runway audience. The event docket, floor plan and application form are sent by email and WhatsApp on enquiry.

The after parties

Bangalore Fashion Week closes each edition with after parties — run with Kingfisher Ultra — bringing together designers, models, sponsors and guests. The organisers describe access as included with select passes, and point people to the guest list to obtain one.

This matters more than it sounds. At most fashion weeks the surrounding parties are the genuinely social part of the week and the hardest thing to find your way into. Here they are at least documented, and attached to a route you can request.

What the four days look like

Shows run across four days from 2:00 PM onwards, in hourly slots. The published schedule for day one opens with a Student Program at 2:00 PM, followed by a sequence of double shows through to the evening.

At the time of writing the designer line-up is still marked TBA against those slots — the organisers update the schedule page as designers are confirmed, so it is worth checking again closer to the dates. The model pools for this edition are already published and named.

Getting there

The venue is The Oterra, a five-star business hotel on Hosur Road in Electronic City, in the south of Bangalore. It is a long way from the city centre — Electronic City is closer to the outskirts than to MG Road — so if you are coming from central Bangalore, allow considerably more time than the distance suggests. Hosur Road traffic is its own category of problem.

Before you rely on this

Everything above was read directly from the organiser's own site on 11 September 2026, across its Venue, Schedule, Guest List, Influencer Club, Press, Exhibit and After Party pages. Where the site states something we have stated it; where it does not — ticket prices, application deadlines, the designer line-up — this page says so rather than guessing.
